MEPF system


M&E system (Mechanical and Electrical) is an addition to complete a house. The system is divided into two main parts, the mechanical and the electrical.

Mechanical

The mechanical in the building focuses mainly on the air conditioning and ventilation items (known by another popular name, HVAC).

Other items such as: Fire alarm and Fighting, Water supply and drainage (Plumbing and Sanitary – P&S), LPG and compressed air supply, etc.

Electrical

Items related to electricity include: electricity distribution and supply, lighting system, control system, extra low voltage (ELV).

When to design M&E?

The design and construction of the electromechanical system is done in parallel with the rough construction and finishing works. Therefore, the investor must ensure that the M&E design drawings are available for the project before proceeding to the next steps.

Electromechanical systems are divided into mechanical and electrical systems.
